Accounting Clerk

- Location : Saint-Laurent, QC
- Full time, Permanent position, 35 hours per week
- Salary commensurate with experience
- Approved overtime paid
- Other benefits: 5 personal days
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Processing trade accounts payables
- Support services to logistics & customs director
- Creation of general journal entries for months’ ends.
- Balance sheet reconciliations and various other analyses
- Assisting V.P., Finance and auditors with the preparation of the annual audit file
- Management of cash flow forecasting and monitoring, including weekly preparation of bank reconciliations, setup of preauthorized payments for our customers, and electronic funds payments to suppliers.
- Issuance of the monthly GST and QST reports
- Various financial analyzes as needed
- Accounting-related support to other departments including credit, warranty, customer service
OUR REQUIREMENTS:
- Minimum CEGEP or college diploma in accounting or equivalent
- Minimum three (3) years of related experience
- Attention to detail and the ability to prioritize
- Self-starter with efficient time management and organizational skills
- Excellent interpersonal relations
- Bilingual in French and English
- Proficient in Excel and Word
- Knowledge of the ERP software SX.entreprise by INFOR, an asset
- Prior experience in a distribution environment, an asset
