Job brief
 
We are looking for an effective Credit Analyst to manage a credit/collection portfolio. You will be responsible for the credit analysis of the accounts including establishing credit limits, reviewing credit held orders while limiting risk exposure. You must also ensure accounts are collected and reconciled in a timely manner.
 

Job description:

- Responsible for collections & credit for assigned territories
- Daily collection calls & follow ups, releasing orders on credit hold
- Credit analysis of new accounts and credit reviews on existing account
- Reconciling accounts for short payments and disputed claims
- Interaction with Sales & Customer Service Departments on a regular basis
- Building customer relationships
- Other tasks assigned by Credit Manager
- Must be 100% bilingual (French & English) both in writing and speaking

Requirements :

- Have minimum of five years experience in credit/collection position
- Excellent communication skills with clients and other departments
- Intermediate skill level for MS Excel, Word and Outlook
- Knowledge of financial statements an asset
- Distribution / Sporting goods industry experience an asset
