Polar Electro, the Finland-based designer and manufacturer of sports training computers and the developer of the world’s first wireless heart rate monitors, has appointed Outdoor Gear Canada (OGC), the Montreal-based national distributor of premium cycling, outdoor, winter and electronics gear as their distributor for Canada.

The Agreement takes effect April 15, 2019. Polar Customer Care will also be available as of that date.
Polar has operated its own sales, marketing and distribution subsidiary in Canada for several years and now has decided to transition to a full-service distributor model.

We look forward to providing Canadian retailers with sales support, reliable distribution and after-sales service. ”

OGC expects to have a complete inventory of Polar products, including service parts, by the April 15 launch date.
